Then I pulled out my Yupo Paper and started in. The painting at the top is on Yupo mounted on a wooden panel. The bottom is on a surface a friend suggested to me called Claybord (TM) by Ampersand. There was a learning curve but piece by piece I fell in love.
It is part of the joy of being an artist to problem solve creatively. I'm liking the results that glow because of each surface's nonporous quality which keeps the pigment sitting on the surface. I seal the paintings with a UV/UVA spray when I am finished.
Let me know what you think.
